Thursday 19th September – ESTA Health and Wellbeing Group

More details here – https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/holistic-and-allopathic-working-together-to-re-define-local-health-care-tickets-71627498777

This morning conference is hosted by the ESTA Health and Wellbeing Group and is for health professionals from both steams to compare, contrast and come up with a working plan of action for the next twelve months. We will spend the morning co-creating an audit of the strengths and weaknesses of holistic knowledge and practice and conventional allopathic practice, with a view to assessing the relative strengths and merits of both systems. The purpose of this exercise is to better coordinate and develop more meaningful strategic working relationships and practices. This is within the context that we are all working towards the shared goal of encouraging more people to take more responsibility for their own health and wellbeing, with the message to “Help Yourself to Health”.

Morning program:

9-9.30 arrival

9.30 – welcome – intro to the theme

9.40 – quick go round: who we are, what we do, anything we are involved with that fits the theme.

10 – circle conversation on the theme

10.45 – break

11 – mind-mapping around tables (to gather information on infrastructure, themes, groups of operational practice, resources)

12 – re- assemble – big conversations

12.45 – final words – next steps

Next Steps:

All information gathered during the morning will be compiled and collated into a Report by The Small Green Consultancy. This will contain an active working collaborative open-source roadmap which will be provided and an open-source resource list which can be added to during the course of the next twelve months.

This event has been made possible due to the kind donation of resources from:
